It was the idea that our main guy had been left heartbroken after his girlfriend had been cheating on him.
We filmed the entirety of this sequence but found that the college shots ruined the quality of the other shots. They were shot from too long of a distance. Someone commented on the fact that they looked like they had just been thrown in to make the story understandable and that the artistic approach we created in the beginning was ruined by these shots which turned it into another conventional student/ college video. Therefore we had to rethink our narrative and produced the graveyard sequences which, as audiences have commented on, really ties together our narrative and still conserves the artistic approach we created in the beginning:
