Opacity

Our female model is first introduced by a quick flash. we pan down to an establishing shot, tightly framed via the use of the logs and quickly fade the girl in. This is meant to provoke a response from the audience making them question whether they have just seen "something" adding to the ethereal and enigmatic theme we want to establish around the girl.

This is the image when the opacity is on 100%

When we were in Haigh hall we panned the camera down and one we got a nicely framed last position we left the camera in the same position, stopped recording and placed our model in position. We then recorded the shot.

With the footage of our model, we placed this video on top of the other and key framed the opacity. Turing the first footage without the model down to 0% and the one with our model up to 100% to establish our quick fade.
