Initially, we wanted to increase the saturation on the images shot at Haigh Hall to create a clear distinguish between the fantasy sequence and the painting shots. However, since the lighting was so good at Haigh Hall because of the weather, the colours of the surroundings were emphasised to create an appearance of increased saturation anyway. We felt that increasing it further would compromise the appearance of the Haigh Hall shots by making them look too unrealistic and the video unprofessional.



Also, we originally wanted to put some scenes in black and white, however this idea was changed because we decided to cut the sequence of shots that this effect was intended for, which were the college shots showing the girl cheating on the boy.
