What have you learned from your audience feedback?
We used a range of different formats to get a variety of positive and negative feedback in order to challenge and improve the conventions of our project. We gathered feedback on all aspects of our brief at different stages to make sure we were always getting input and improving our final outcome.

Firstly we video interviewed one of the band members for his view on the start of our project, we asked him to look at our rough first draft of our music video then one group member asked him a variety of questions on what aspects of the video he did and did not like, was it a good representation of the band, genre s well as the songs narrative. It allowed us to get a different perspective. Another advantage to the interview was to ask what would they be interested in seeing in the video, from this we got a range of ideas on different shots and more use of close-ups on the instruments which we took into consideration when we filmed the4 final parts of our video.

Social networking sites are well known for sharing images between other facebook users, so we thought it would be benifitial to upload 2 versions of a final poster for the audience to decide on which one they prefare and to also get feedback on any alterations of things we may have missed.
This was really helpful because we got feedback from all types of viewers from different age ranges and genders which gave us varied perspectives.
With gettingt negative and positive comments it showed us what the audience wanted us to keep and what sections could be adapted.
Some of the comments noted on the fact some of the spelling was wrong and missing capitals which is also important for us to notice to make sure our project looks as professional as possible.

Also with the band we featured having a fan base on facebook it allowed to get feed back from what the fans want as they are similar with the band, its members and genre. So we they could tell us which poster best represented the band in a positive way.
In conclusion all types of feedback and critosisum has been vital in our project so that we are always looking and questioning our work for why we have done what we have done and what can be improved to get our best possible outcome.
Feedback from different genres and ages made sure we were covering all audiences and that our work was accessable and appealing to all.
