Slogan

We wanted to have a really good, snappy, engaging slogan that would look great underneath our main title on the front of the DVD cover.

Firstly, we came up with "Something no one knows about except you". It looked really good on our cover but wasn't snappy enough and was too "wordy".

After some thinking, we researched some quotes from horror films to get some inspiration and ideas. We finally came up with a slogan that sounds and looks pretty good on our DVD cover and completely works.

"Courage is fear that has said its prayers"

It works successfully as our film is mainly set in a church and the main character is praying at the beginning of the trailer. She is extremely scared because her sister has been mysteriously kidnapped and she doesn't know what is going to happen next. After praying etc. she manages to gain enough courage to go looking for the kidnapper to get her sister back.

After much consideration, we decided that the slogan didn't quite work and could be too confusing for the audience to understand. We wanted the slogan to be more punchy to get the message across. We came up with another idea for our slogan which fits a lot better with the title "untold"...

We love this slogan and it looks great on our poster and DVD cover. We did like the phrase "courage is fear that has said its prayers" as it completely made sense so therefore we included it in our blurb at the back of our DVD cover.
