Screen Shots

We decided to take some screen shots of our trailer. We did this by opening Adobe Premiere Pro and pressing "print screen" when appropriate, and saving each image to put in our blog.

We chose a range of shot images:

This is the shot of the main character singing the lullaby. We managed to do the lip syncing really successfully and it looks really effective with the blue tint. The blue tint makes it look cold and eary which is the look we wanted to go for.

We really wanted to create atmospheric lighting and the candle light was brilliant for our horror genre. We both blew on the candle slightly to create a flicker which made it look even better!

This shot was chosen because we thought that the focus on the main character and the blurred background worked greatly because of the contrast of focus. In addition, the trailer is mainly about the main character so therefore the focus conveyed this well.

Along with the candlelight, this shot looked spooky and created a perfect atmosphere. Everything worked well, the lighting and the colour were exactly what we wanted. The colour red signifies danger and this is the effect we were hoping to achieve.

This is another outside shot in which the main character has just shouted after her sister as she has discovered that she has gone missing. We thought that the wind created a great effect with the characters hair and made the the shot a little more interesting rather than just still. In addition, we thought that the look on the actors face showed fright in her eyes but anger in her mouth which is exactly what we wanted.
