Dynamism

In our trailer we have used quite an upbeat tempo with our music choice, plus used quick snappy shots to get the idea of fear across to the audience, whilst making them so excited that they want to come and see the film. On top of this we have have included shots where the actor who is playing the main character travels across the screen which gives the piece a good range of successful dynamics.

Hannah Gaskell herself said:

"I wanted to make my character look frightened but have a sense of 'rambo' to her so that the audience wouldn't be able to work out who turned on who in the end. As it's a trailer, the idea is to tease the audience and that's what I tried to do. I decided to move about alot in my shots to give a varied effect. I didn't want the shots to look still and boring. Plus, the audience focus on the thing that's moving which is the idea!"
