Stereotypes

Within our radio drama, we decided to include stereotypical characters that were easy to portray, and easy to identify with regards to their voices and characteristics. The various men portrayed within our narrative, we believe should represent various stereotypes to add flavour and variety to our drama, rather than a mundane representation of the male species.

Nerd -Posh vocabulary -Speaks relatively fast -Snorting, nervous laughter -Socially awkward Potential Sound Effects: pinging of braces, possibly falling

Skater - Has own language, needs translating - Uses words such as 'Rad' and 'Totally' - American Accent Potential sound effects: wheels of a skateboard on approach

Gay - 'Camp'/feminine toned dialogue - Tutting, kissing, wincing sounds - Uses words like 'Darling' and 'Fabulous' Potential sound effects: clamping together of a handbag
