We read the briefs on offer, and following much deliberation and consideration, concluded that we would produce our coursework based on radio. We felt that producing a piece of radio drama would be a new learning experience, due to the fact that as a group, we were unfamiliar with the media type in comparison to music videos for example. Furthermore, there is a current gap in the market for radio dramas aimed at people our age. We felt that exploring this niche would be an interesting and enlightening experience, one in which we would not gain from a music video or film making process.
