We have been acummilating together a variety of possible ideas for the radio drama. Rather than doing a snippet of a larger series, we have realised that it would be better to do a full, short story within the five minutes time that is allowed.

Below is a spider diagram of possible ideas.

Out of the ideas that we have discussed, we have three ideas that are more favourable than the others, and feel that would work within the time scale and appeal to the target audience that we are trying to appeal to. We made further spider diagrams to expand on these three ideas, debating about the possible sounds that would be needed, and simple characters we wanted to explore.

As you can see from the spider diagrams above, our favourite idea out of the three and the one that produced the most ideas was the speed dating, as it is something that would appeal to the audience that we are aiming for, and would allow for a realistic yet also abstract qualities to come into the radio drama. This would create something quite new and revolutionary, that isn't in the current market already.
