The song that we've chosen is 'Broken' by Seether, who are a punk, grunge-style band. Thus, the music magazine we choose to feature the advert for the band's album must be appropriate - for example 'Smashhits!', which is a well-known teenaged pop magazine, wouldn't be right. Also, as Seether aren't quite as well known as the likes of My Chemical Romance, the magazine is going to be less main-stream, so NME wouldn't be suitable.
Having looked at several music magazines, we have concluded that the two shown below -'SPIN' and 'Big Cheese Magazine' would match the artist Seether's style of music.
We have chosen 'SPIN' because in the September 2010 issue, an interview with the band Soundgarden, who have a similar grunge-style sound to their music, made the front cover.

In 'Big Cheese Magazine', the band Rise Against, who are a grunge band, are interviewed. Because the magazine feature a band with this style of music, we have decided that this would also be right for the CD advert.
