Continuity 
I thought it might be effective to possibly continue the theme of the thresholded images from the album into the poster to show a continuous pattern which links the two together. However i would want to keep the same sepia effect, pattern of three or shape because i want to have some variation. The poster above is great inspiration for a starting point to start the poster as it includes the thresholded images and the iconic Union Jack which is present and threaded throughout the brief. Again i think we need to create some differences from the existing poster, to have our own twist i will need to play around with the layout and style of the text. We have plenty of action shots to play around with to get the right image!
Similarly we can weave this main album front cover image through the poster, although i could play around with the effect on the image. For example the existing image is quite sketchy and hand draw which i could play around with as well as finding my own effect.
I really like this poster as again it continues the threshold theme with a colour theme running throughout similar to the album. We could possibly use a band action shot although i believe we have used this kind of image quite often. We re-shooted the band but had them more structured up against a background and in various locations which may be more suitable for this poster. I like the positioning of the text going through the middle of the poster which imediatly draws in your eye
