Ideas for the CD cover

After researching a varity of digipaks and the existing ones on the market at the moment we have a few ideas of how we want ours to look. Many artists use colour to create an eyecatchig front cover to there album/single which does work well, however in our oppinion a colourful front cover would not lend itself well to the style of music and the music video in which we have created. The narative that we have created in our music video is that of a deteriorating relationship and a bright, colourful CD cover would almost contradict both the lyrics to the song and the video. When looking at the covers that we have posted they all seem to follow the same style and genre that we think would work really well for our own cover. We would like to experiment with a few angular shots but mostly focusing on the artist performing, either at the piano that features in the music video or in the studio possibley with a microphone, inspired by the Paolo Nutini covers.
