Script Adaptation

We've agreed that the possibility of adding a third character is what our trailer needs to add some sort of story line. So... We've done a few edits in the script which we are pretty sure will work out.

•Opening shot, set scene, dialogue between main character and passer by informing us on unsafe area. e.g. "It doesn't feel right being here" ... "I told you it's not safe"

•Shot of mains face

•Shot of main turning round to notice other girl has gone missing

Main shouts other characters name which is echoed slightly

•Panics and runs to church for safety.

•Rattles doors

Paramount Logo

•Track from back of church towards girl who is singing a lullaby.

•Track round girl to show face and reveal identity.- Heroin

•Cut shot of writing/statement. lullaby in background then BANG of doors and silence.

Black screen - Dialogue from beginning e.g. "I told you it's not safe"

•Shot of girl turning around quickly.

•Shot of girl blowing candle out and girl run away in background.

Cut shot of writing/statement.- in response to first cut in of writing. Music build up.

When music kicks in, quick snappy cuts introduced.

•Hand on a window- idea of victim gesturing for help.

•Girl running

•Girl hiding behind a pillar with the killer in the background.

•Girl crawling inbetween pews

•Shot of killers eyes beneath mask.

•Shot of stained glass window.

•Shot of virgin Mary figure.

•Girl closing doors.- Idea of locking the audience out of the horror.

Music fading

•Shot of panicking girl.

•Shot of masked 'killer'

•Shot of hand holding a bloody knife- idea that the audience dont know whose hand it is. Use this shot either before or after the 'film name' shot at the end.

Name of film. Information about it. Both emerging towards screen.

Now we're ready to film etc. We will use up the rest of our time up until Tuesday to organise props, make up, lighting and costume, and even consider brain storming ideas from our DVD cover and poster.
