We are going to take a variety of shots of the band for the digi pack and poster, we are going to take the pictures in the bands practice room because its a big space and has a lot in there that represents the band and gives an added 'indie' theme.
We will need to take individual shots of the band members, group photos and maybe some of the instruments. I think it would be beneficial if we take shots from a range of different angles, some close ups, extreme close ups, med shots and full body shots and even some canted frames to get that edginess.
A macro lens for the camera may be a good idea to use to get crisp and clean close up in focus images. We may possibly have to take some additional lighting just in case the room is quite dark.
These images will then be edited in photoshop to adjust possible lighting issues and even add sutble effects such as desaturation, adding texture and contrast or even a threshold effect.
