Initial idea

Development of a possible front cover

We wanted to experiment and bring in typography to see which type face best suited the album cover.
Because some of the members had darker clothes on that others when i added the threshold effect parts of the image went white, so i added another layer on top of the image and used a black brush to colour in the white parts to see if it looked better. It made the seperate images flow into each other.

To add some colour into the album cover i added a coloured layer and turned down the opasity so it is only just visable.
We decided to go with this typography because its quite retro and reflects the type of genre of the band. We kept the same colour tone running throughout the text as well to keep consistancy.
We found out that the composition of the text would look better underneith the image to not block any section of the band members, also the black text became lost in the black and white image.
