Narrative Strand Ideas

These ideas are not set in stone, there will probably be chances made if these are found to be unpractical.

Narrative strands (Broken down into sequences which are spread through
video)

STRAND 1 – In a band room, the whole band perform. The band room looks slightly run down to reflect the indie style. We get different angles of them and focus on different members, conventional the vocalist will be shown the most (the 'front-man'.)

STRAND 2 – Our second strand consists of a new character in a different setting. We are planning on filming at a club/bar of an 'off-the-rails' girl getting drunk We have the girl’s actions and reactions to reflect the lyrics of the song. Also, the girl's facial expressions show how she is feeling hopeless and depending on alcohol to escape from the real world. It shows her
entering through the door and drinking a shot. We like the idea of having a a 360 degree camera movement around her head to emphasize how drunk she is.

STAND 3 – Our third and final strand bring the two strands together. The girl is past the point of no return and passes out in the gutter. The idea is that the band have left their performance in their band room and step over the girl.
